RC8 Hexacone Titanium Race System

September 3rd, 2010 -- by Alex -- Posted in KTM, Motorcycle | No Comments »

Hi guys, today’s post is brought to you by the folks over at Robson Communications Inc. They are partnering with Lex Racing to offer you guys 3 Years Free Website and Email Hosting. This is a limited time offer that expires September 30, 2010, so hop to it.

Be sure to enter in promo code: WGT38864. Thanks Robson Communications Inc! Now, on to today’s news.

Looks like the folks over in Austria finally came out with an exhaust system for the KTM RC8 and RC8R. Check it out.

The system uses their Hexacone end can tip. It is a high performance racing system, which makes it not legal for street use, but who’s telling? It is made of Titanium and the pipe size is 54 mm.

Yes, I admit, it is not the most aesthetically pleasing system for the RC8, but I am sure Remus took into account performance numbers of the cosmetics. Remember their full titanium exhaust system for the Daytona 675?

Take a look at the dyno numbers.

The system will run you around $1290.00 or so, depending on where you are in the world. And as always, Remus backs up their products with 24 months warranty on all EEC approved systems, 12 months warranty on Racing systems. Stay tuned for more updates.
